Expanding Our Retro-Style Department

We carry the largest selection of retro-inspired women’s clothing in the Phoenix area. And we’re expanding every week! Thankfully, our store is big enough to hold it all- we just need to move a few things around.

Sometimes I stay up at night dreaming up ways we can change the store around to create a fun shopping experience for our customers. Or, Nikki will get an idea to completely shift things around & then there’s no stopping us.

This week, we moved and expanded our pinup department to make room for our Fall collection. It’s trickling in piece by piece & we can hardly contain our excitement.

We put together a hair accessory station to show off our retro inspired & locally made headbands, hair flowers, bows, etc.

And finally, Nikki & I put this wall together to show off our new arrivals. That’s my partner in crime- Nikki of “Bliss by Nikki G.”.

We carry sizes XS-4XL in many styles- come try on a dress or two…

Skirt Obsession

It’s late and I’m about to go to sleep soon, but in the back of my mind I’m mentally flipping through every piece in my closet trying to figure out what I’m going to wear tomorrow.  I’m obsessing over fashion, prints, patterns, bright colors, high waisted skirts, ruffled tops, shoes, boots, shoeties.  Yeah.  It’s not just my usual closet anxiety, but kind of like a quiet extreme anxiety taking over cuz we’re shooting for the new Crave Phoenix book tomorrow.  We get a two-page spread.  I wish I had a fuchsia and black vertical stripe skirt, not because I saw it at a store, but because I saw a similar skirt on Wanderlust in purple and now I’m obsessed.  Like as if my imaginary fuchsia and black striped skirt would save me from photo-shoot anxiety.  I mean this picture of me at my shop is going to be published in hundreds of copies, so I’m wishing I had the perfect outfit!!  I would wear it with a black boat neck top, and my new pink suede platform pumps…  and some slouchy soft ankle socks.  Yep, that would be perfect.

But since the skirt isn’t in my closet, and I can’t think of what to wear, I’m going to say goodnight, and rip apart my closet til I can figure it out.  So goodnight, and keep obsessing about fashion.
